Here we provide qualified acute care around the clock. The operating department operates 24/7 where approximately 70 percent of the activity is acute. We perform a wide range of acute and elective procedures, both long and short operations. The operating department in Helsingborg is divided into three sections; orthopedics, surgery (including vascular surgery) and a section containing ear, gynecology/obstetrics, urology and maxillofacial and dental patients. Anesthesia also covers maxillofacial surgery, eye surgery, pediatric dentistry as well as endoscopy and radiological examinations. As an anesthesia nurse with us, you join a team that rotates between the different sections at regular intervals. We are over 130 employees divided among anesthesia nurses, operating room nurses, nursing assistants, anesthesiologists and surgical technicians. Our operational area also includes a day surgery unit, recovery unit/ICU/intermediate care, sterilization department and Ängelholm operating department. 2 position(s). DUTIES We now welcome you who are looking for varied and stimulating work where you get a meaningful role in collaboration with your colleagues in the operating team! As an anesthesia nurse you work with pre- and perioperative care, medical technology and care documentation. You work with one patient at a time and are responsible for anesthesia in collaboration with an anesthesiologist and participate in pre- and post-work. With your skills and experience you help our patients feel secure before and during surgery. As an employee and anesthesia nurse on the team, you are an important puzzle piece in the effort to work together with other staff members to provide patients with the best possible care where they feel well cared for. With us you plan your work shifts according to operational scheduling preferences. The work includes day, evening, weekend and night shifts. We have a working time model that is based on the number of hours worked during inconvenient working hours, and when working during inconvenient hours you receive a reduction in working time. The introduction is individually adapted based on your previous experience and during the introduction you work daytime. On the department we offer four development days per year, annual CPR training and opportunities for trauma training. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and have specialist training in anesthesia care. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. It is advantageous if you have experience from working in an operating department with mixed tasks of elective and acute activities. We also welcome good knowledge of the journal systems Orbit and Melior.
