About the Workplace
The Technology & Design Unit is part of the Digitalization Department, which has approximately 90 employees who ensure stable, secure, and cost-effective digitalization for the city's 11,000 users. We are responsible for everything from infrastructure to client platforms and cloud solutions. As IT Security Manager, you will report directly to the unit manager and become a strategic part of Helsingborg's digital development. Our workplace is located in central Helsingborg.
Your Assignment
You will lead and coordinate the city's IT security work with a focus on holistic approach, risk management, and governance. The role includes, among other things:
Assess vulnerabilities from different perspectives: operational security, risks of intrusion, overload attacks, and more comprehensive oversight of user patterns
Plan IT security, for example network security, malware, encryption, backups, physical security, information classification, crisis and continuity management in operations
Communicate policies, guidelines, and training to the organization to maintain high security awareness, and develop these with the help of the CISO
Set requirements and act as a sounding board in procurements, new solutions/systems/innovations, as well as analyses of different operations' IT security work, such as a school, a nursing home, or a museum, etc.
Have close collaboration with external organizations such as other municipalities, companies and organizations in the region, authorities, and interest organizations within IT security
Identify vulnerabilities before they can harm the organization, residents, and our reputation
Collaboration with central functions in the municipality, such as safety and security, quality, legal, communications, and HR
Contribute to the department's ongoing operational plans and roadmaps
Support the department with a review of physical security
Support the organization's information and security protection work
Provide governance, prioritization support, and support team leaders and teams through constructive feedback, risk assessments, and quality reviews
Qualifications
University or college education in the field and/or relevant work experience.
Previous experience as an IT Security Manager and/or relevant experience that is applicable.
Work experience with threat and vulnerability analysis and issue management in complex IT landscapes.
Very good Swedish in speech and writing, and you communicate well in English as well.
Good knowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2/CSL, NIST CSF 2.0, and CIS Controls.
Merits
Certifications such as CISSP or CISM
Experience with NIS2/CSL
Experience with Requirements Setting for, e.g., Procurement
The position is placed in a security classification and a security vetting with a register check according to the Security Protection Act will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. We place high demands on security and confidentiality awareness.
