Welcome to Fågelvikskolan! We are looking for you to help shape education and teaching for our students together with colleagues in student welfare teams, safety teams, and work teams. Fågelvikskolan is a newly renovated middle school for grades 7–9 with approximately 350 students. Tibro Municipality, with 11,000 residents, is located in the northern part of Västra Götaland Region. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a music teacher at Fågelvikskolan, you will be part of a work team that focuses on student needs, and also part of a subject team with a certified music teacher. As a primary school teacher, the role includes planning and conducting instruction as well as assessing student knowledge. The role also includes evaluating and developing pedagogical work based on the school's policy documents and student needs and interests. As a teacher, you are expected to conduct creative and language-developing instruction and find strategies to maximize student learning. In this way, inclusive teaching is self-evident in your daily work. The role includes contributing to collaborative learning, which aims to promote school development. Mentoring is part of the role. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a primary school teacher with certification in music, preferably in combination with another subject. If you have similar knowledge and experience that is considered equivalent, you are also welcome to apply for the position. You have strong pedagogical and didactic abilities and can clearly and engagedly organize and lead classroom work for the best possible development of all students. We are looking for you who work differentiated and see individual accommodations as a natural part of daily classroom work. It is very important that you have the ability to create good and sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians in order to contribute to increased learning and goal achievement. You have a collaborative approach and enjoy working with other colleagues in work and subject teams. You should be well familiar with the school's policy documents and preferably have experience working with digital tools that promote student learning. Salary form: Monthly salary.
