German Language Teacher
Svalövs Montessori is seeking a German language teacher for grades 6-9. As a German language teacher, you will be part of one of Storskolan's teaching teams, grades 6-7 or 8-9. Storskolan has 100 students. German language instruction at Svalövs Montessori is based on the philosophy that students should learn the language, its culture, and the countries where it is spoken through experiential learning. We teach experience-based lessons. German instruction takes place on two days per week, with groups grades 6-7 and 8-9, totaling four lessons per week. The position can potentially be combined with other teaching responsibilities and expanded from 30%. We are looking for someone with teaching and grading experience in German. You should have teacher certification and teaching experience. If you are also familiar with Montessori pedagogy, that is a plus. Mathematics and Science Teacher
Svalövs Montessori is seeking a mathematics and science teacher for grades 6-9. As a subject teacher, you will be part of the Upper School teaching team. At Storskolan, we have 100 students. Mathematics instruction has been scheduled by grade level as of this school year. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with our existing Math/Science teacher who teaches grades 6-7—meaning you will be two subject teachers within this subject area. This year we have introduced block lessons, and mathematics instruction is scheduled Monday through Friday. You should have teaching certification and need experience teaching.
