You & Us & The Job
As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find the way, and your job is a journey toward climate-neutral freight transport. Transportation is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from countryside to major city. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be an important part of this by, among other things, receiving training in fuel-efficient driving. Together, we're working to become fossil-free by 2030.
This position is a permanent employment with a full-time employment degree (100%) starting week 36. Your working hours will be 06:25–14:45 and 07:50–16:10, Monday through Friday. We apply a 6-month probationary period. You will be based at Häradsvägen 253.
What You Will Do
Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
Meeting our customers where they are. Whether they are postal agents, private customers, or business customers.
Who You Are
Curious and self-driven: You will do much of the work alone, but team spirit is important.
Patient & calm: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You maintain balance.
Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key words. So are order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
In good physical condition: Yes, you're sedentary while driving, but you need to be able to lift when picking up and delivering. For this, you need good strength and mobility.
Adaptable: Unplanned situations require flexibility.
Service-oriented: Customer relationships need the right attitude and feeling.
You are unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.
What You Bring
High school diploma, or alternatively in your final year of high school
Class B driver's license and experience driving a car
Swedish, spoken and written
Good customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude and ability to find solutions
