Production Supervisor

We are now looking for an engaged and driven Production Supervisor for our production facility in Sävsjö. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine operational leadership with the development of employees and processes in a modern manufacturing environment. About the position As a Production Supervisor, you are an important part of the production organization and are responsible for your shift within our production. You lead and allocate daily work and ensure that operations are conducted with the highest focus on safety, quality, efficiency and work environment. The role involves close collaboration with several functions within the organization and long-term work to develop working methods, processes and employees. You report to the Department Manager. Your main responsibilities Lead, allocate and follow up on daily work within the department. Ensure that production is conducted in a safe, efficient and quality-conscious manner. Work actively with the department's goals and key metrics within safety, quality, efficiency and minimization of waste. Drive improvement initiatives and develop processes and procedures. Coach, develop and engage employees to create a strong and well-functioning team. Conduct development conversations and competence development initiatives. Handle personnel-related matters such as scheduling, absence and leave requests. Participate in shift handovers to ensure proper priorities and information flow. We are looking for someone who Has experience in leadership, preferably within production or manufacturing industry. Is confident in leading and motivating people. Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (required). Has good knowledge of English. Has upper secondary education or equivalent experience. Has a structured working approach and good analytical ability. Has experience with or interest in improvement work and operational development. Has the ability to make decisions and create engagement in the group. It is meritorious if you have: Education in work environment, for example BAM.
