Forklift Operator | Lernia | Hylte As a forklift operator for our client in Hylte, you'll be part of a productive team where safety, quality, and efficiency are in focus. You will handle goods, load and unload vehicles, and conduct internal transportation within the facility. This position is a staffing assignment through Lernia with good opportunities for extension or transition to the client's permanent employment.
About the Position
In your role as a forklift operator, you are responsible for safely and correctly moving materials between warehouse areas, production stations, and vehicles. You work closely with production and warehouse personnel, report any deviations, and ensure the workplace is well-organized. The work may involve lifting heavy loads, packaging, and simple documentation in internal systems.
Perform forklift operations (picking, internal deliveries, loading/unloading)
Ensure goods are properly packaged and labeled
Follow workplace safety and health procedures
Report errors and deviations and participate in inventory checks as needed
Maintain the forklift fleet and tools in good order and perform basic maintenance
About You
Formal Qualifications
You have completed forklift training (counterbalance, reach truck, or equivalent) and documented experience operating forklifts. You are comfortable working with digital systems for registration and reporting and can read simple delivery notes and labels. Proficient Swedish in speech and writing is required to follow safety procedures and communicate with colleagues.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in warehouse or production work is desirable, as well as forklift certifications for multiple truck types, experience with logistics processes, and familiarity with working in high-pace teams. A Class B driver's license is desirable but not required.
