Ängsätra Seeking Treatment Assistant/Social Pedagogue

Ängsätra is a short-term residential facility for people with mental health issues and/or substance use disorders. Clients come to Ängsätra to take a break and pause. Contacts and planning may need to be created and initiated before they continue with their lives. Life can be chaotic and difficult to manage. Time is needed to recover, gather thoughts and strength. Some may also need support and help to establish functioning contact with healthcare services and authorities. At Ängsätra, we meet each client where they are. We are looking for someone who is confident, receptive, and has a genuine interest in meeting people where they are. You should believe in change and development, no matter how small or large—and moreover, think it is one of the finest things one can work with. We are a small work team that enjoys laughter and knows we depend on each other to do good work for our clients together. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual support and guidance based on each client's needs Work from a respectful and professional approach Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to provide the best possible support Document, assess, and compile reports and implementation plans (IBIC) We are looking for someone who: Has education and professional experience in social work/social psychiatry or similar fields Has commitment and empathy for people with mental health issues and substance use problems Is responsible and professional in your collaboration with other stakeholders and colleagues Can work independently and make well-founded decisions in various situations We Offer: Work where you know you make a difference A workplace where respect, participation, and care are fundamental A wonderful work team with supportive and engaged colleagues Regular supervision This is a fixed-term employment with good prospects for extension Interviews and recruitment will be conducted on an ongoing basis
