We are seeking a Security Strategy Officer for the municipality's security and safety department. Here you will have a broad role where you work both strategically and operatively with security, crime prevention, and emergency preparedness. As a Security Strategy Officer, you will provide municipality-wide support and drive work together with our operations and external partners. In a smaller municipality, the path from idea to action is short – you will both develop approaches and help implement them in practice. Your assignment You will, among other things: lead and coordinate the municipality's crime prevention efforts, including the municipality's BRÅ, and represent Kinda in regional contexts coordinate prevention efforts within areas such as SSPF and ANDTS collaborate on public health, suicide prevention, and crisis support work develop work against welfare fraud and questions related to PDV participate in civil defense work and risk and vulnerability analyses (RSA) monitor relevant legislation and contribute to ensuring the municipality's work meets current requirements develop plans, guidelines, and procedures and educate and support managers and employees coordinate safety-creating initiatives together with the municipality's operations, authorities, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with relevant education or experience from similar work within municipal administration or other public sector activities. You have good understanding of security, safety, and crime prevention work and are experienced in independently driving matters from analysis and planning through implementation and follow-up. You express yourself well in speech and writing and feel comfortable presenting, informing, and educating others. To succeed in this role, you also need to be good at collaboration, building trust, and making complex issues understandable and practical. It is meritorious if you have experience in one or more of the areas BRÅ, SSPF, ANDTS, suicide prevention, welfare fraud, PDV, RSA, civil defense, and crisis preparedness.
