The Role You are an inspirational educator who can give our children the opportunity to imagine, create, and dream. You get children to dare to take on new roles, movements, games, aesthetic processes, and gather around a shared story or creative process. You are passionate about providing cultural opportunities for everyone and have a special heart for children in rural areas. You will be responsible for planning, leading, and developing courses and cultural school activities for children and young people. You will collaborate with schools, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders. The work requires great independence, the ability to cooperate, and maintain contact with schools to arrange times and facilities, primarily in the villages of Heby and Östervåla. Who We Are The Cultural School is part of Culture & Recreation, which also includes Libraries, Youth Activities, Community Organizations, and Swimming and Sports Halls, enabling good collaborations. Seven educators at the Cultural School work with courses in instruments, singing, dance, and theater. Most recently, we are developing musicals as a subject.
