School Nurse

Härjedalen Municipality and the joint student health services need to recruit a school nurse for Funäsdalen and Bruksvallarnas School. As a school nurse, you will have a central and important role in the school's student health work, where you contribute with your medical expertise. You are part of the coordinated student health services where you work interprofessionally with educators and other personnel in the student health team to create the best conditions for students' health, development, and learning. Work Tasks As a school nurse, you work at the individual, group, and school unit levels and actively contribute to the school's interprofessional forums. Your role as a school nurse includes, among other things: offering and conducting health consultations, health visits, and vaccinations according to national guidelines and established national base programs. working to promote and prevent students' health, physical, mental, and social. being available for open office hours. providing guidance and consultation to the school's other personnel. continuously and structurally collaborating with other professionals in student health services and educators at the school. cooperating with external actors and authorities. building relationships with students and collaborating with students and guardians. Qualifications We are looking for you as a licensed nurse with one of the following advanced educations: Specialist Nurse Education in Health Care for Children (75hp) District Nurse (75hp) School Nurse Program (60hp) For this position, a class B driver's license is required as you will need to travel between schools by car. Upon potential employment, a certificate from the police must be presented.
