About the Position
As a machine operator, you'll be responsible for monitoring CNC machine operations and ensuring that production meets the specified dimensions and quality requirements. This assignment is part of our staffing services, which means you'll be employed by Lernia and work as a consultant for our client in Eksjö. The assignment is long-term, and the goal is for you to eventually be offered a direct position with the client company.
Start date in October / by agreement
Fixed-term employment 6 months with possibility of extension (full-time)
Work schedule: 3-shift rotation (morning, night, evening)
About You
To be a good fit for this position, it's important that you're flexible and have a strong work ethic. As a person, you're expected to be a team player with great responsibility, handle your work with efficiency, and be hands-on. You should be able to work both independently and in a group, and have good physical fitness. The work involves shift work, so you need to be flexible and able to work nights, days, and evenings.
Formal Qualifications
Driver's license category B & access to a car
Good Swedish language skills
Education or prior experience in machining as a machine operator, CNC operator, process operator, or similar role
Merit Factors
Forklift certification A+B
Previous work experience in manufacturing, particularly the metal industry
