The team consists of case managers with broad expertise in social work in general, as well as specialized expertise in areas such as income support, children & youth, family law & paternity, foster care, and harmful use/addiction & mental health. JOB DUTIES Authority administration regarding foster care according to applicable legislation and according to guidelines and procedures. Follow-up of children and youth placed in foster care. Recruitment and investigation of foster homes, contact families, and contact persons. Provide advice, support, and training to contractors. Preparation of financial agreements. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in social work with experience in authority administration. You should have good collaborative skills, be responsible, be able to work independently, and express yourself well verbally and in writing. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. The team consists of case workers with broad expertise in social work and specialized knowledge in the areas of subsistence support, harmful substance use/addiction, and LSS/social psychiatry. We are seeking a social worker specializing in adults for Team Individ as one of our employees will become a parent soon. The position involves case handling for the adult target group, with a focus on harmful substance use/addiction related to alcohol/drugs. Team Individ currently has 3.0 social workers specializing in adults, 2.0 social workers specializing in young adults, and 1 senior social worker in the field. Colleagues and management support and guide you in daily work. Social workers within the team work in close collaboration with each other across all areas of expertise such as harmful substance use/addiction, subsistence support, and LSS/social psychiatry, as well as with Team Support, our collective outpatient care. WORK DUTIES You will work with government authority functions, meaning you will investigate, assess, and make decisions based on applicable legislation in the field; the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care for Substance Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM). Case handling and documentation form a significant part of the work, as does collaborating in various constellations internally and externally. Work tasks are varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful, which requires a flexible approach. QUALIFICATIONS A degree in social work or other education that the employer deems appropriate. Knowledge and experience in the area of harmful substance use/addiction as well as experience with government authority functions are meriting. We are seeking a responsible, positive, and flexible person who can contribute to making a difference for the individual user, development of the organization, and a good work environment.
