Field Technician

This is a role for someone who wants to leave the desk behind and instead work with technology in the real world. You'll have a varied workday where you're responsible for installation, commissioning, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of technical solutions directly at customer sites. About the role As a Field Technician, you're responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting technical solutions at customer sites throughout Sweden. You work independently in the field and become an important representative for the company in customer interactions. The role offers a unique combination of technology, customer contact, and hands-on work. You'll work with everything from hardware and networking to assembly, cable installation, and technical installations. At the same time, you contribute to ensuring that business-critical systems function properly and that customers have a smooth user experience. The work involves travel throughout Sweden and occasional overnight stays. You'll have access to a company car, work clothes, and all equipment needed to succeed in the role. Job responsibilities Installation and commissioning of technical equipment Service, repair, and troubleshooting on-site at customer locations Cable installation, assembly, and other installation work Hardware and network-related work Documentation of completed assignments Customer contact and technical guidance Ensure that assignments are completed according to agreed service levels Perform maintenance and technical work at customer sites Work with hand tools and technical equipment Collaborate with colleagues and other technicians as needed We're looking for you who Holds a driver's license (category B) Enjoys traveling for work Has a technical interest and likes hands-on work Is self-driven and takes responsibility for your assignments Is service-oriented and enjoys customer contact Communicates fluently in Swedish and English Desirable experience Field service or technical support Installation and maintenance of technical equipment IT support, networking, or hardware Fiber, telecom, alarm, or CCTV installations Electrical, automation, or service technician work We offer A varied role with significant freedom under responsibility Opportunity to work with technology used by thousands of people every day An exciting mix of IT, hardware, networking, and hands-on installation work Company car, work clothes, and necessary equipment Diem and compensation for travel and overnight stays An engaged and helpful team with short decision-making processes Opportunity to develop long-term within a growing international company A role where you get to travel and see different parts of Sweden instead of sitting at a desk every day Employment type The position begins as a consultant employment via Barona for approximately 6 months.
