Physical Therapist, Temporary Position

Description We are seeking a physical therapist colleague to start as soon as possible or by agreement. As a physical therapist in Arjeplog Municipality, you will meet and work with patients in their homes within home care, at special residential facilities, and short-term care units. No two days are the same, and you will have great freedom to plan and influence your work based on patients' needs and circumstances. As one of the largest municipalities by area, our workplace extends many miles into surrounding villages. Combined with physiotherapy responsibility for the municipality's special residential facilities and short-term care units, workdays and tasks vary, requiring flexibility and strong teamwork. As a physical therapist in our municipal health and care services, you will work with, among other things: -Assessment, training, and treatment based on the individual's circumstances and goals -Rehabilitation with focus on activity, participation, and independence -Testing and prescription of aids and equipment -Guidance, education, and delegation to care personnel -Close collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, care personnel, and other professionals Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physical therapist who wants to help develop working methods and rehabilitation in our municipality. For this position, you must: -Be a licensed physical therapist -Have good computer skills -Hold a B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles -Speak Swedish well, both verbally and in writing Experience with similar work in municipal health and care services is a merit but not a requirement. As a person, you are responsible, have good collaboration skills, and a positive attitude. You adapt easily when the day doesn't go as planned and can prioritize when multiple things happen at once.
