Apply for the position of Logistics Specialist with us at Combitech in Arboga and become an important part of ensuring efficient material and information flows in an organization that contributes to Sweden's future. What We Offer At Combitech, we invest in our employees—they are the core, the brain, and the heart of our operations. As a Logistics Specialist with us, you contribute to a safer, more secure, and more resilient society. Combitech operates in areas that are critical to Sweden's future, such as defense, industry, and mission-critical operations. Although logistics often happens behind the scenes, it is a prerequisite for operations to function. By ensuring efficient material and information flows, you help our customers' projects succeed and enable technology, innovation, and expertise to be converted into concrete solutions with real societal value. You become part of an experienced and committed logistics team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and development are a natural part of everyday work. We help each other succeed and value an open climate where ideas and initiatives are encouraged. Here you have the opportunity to combine practical logistics work with operations development and contribute to the organization's continued growth. What the Role Involves As a Logistics Specialist at Combitech in Arboga, you work closely with operational activities and are responsible for flows within procurement, goods receiving, warehouse management, material supply, and export control. You ensure that materials, information, and processes function efficiently throughout the entire supply chain and collaborate with project managers, maintenance production, procurement specialists, suppliers, and customers. Work tasks may include everything from handling deliveries, supplier contacts, and material orders to monitoring inventory balances, ensuring export compliance, and supporting projects with logistics-related matters. You work both independently and together with other logistics specialists to manage daily challenges, prioritize activities, and find solutions when conditions change. A major responsibility is to create structure, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and contribute to the organization's ability to deliver according to plan. Beyond operational work, you are expected to contribute to developing and improving our working methods and processes. Digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) are becoming an increasingly important part of operations and are used to support analysis, information management, and decision-making. At the same time, your ability to make sound judgments based on experience, expertise, and operational understanding is essential to ensure correct decisions and sustainable solutions. Since this position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved for a security clearance with background check. Selection is ongoing. We look forward to your application! What We're Looking For We are looking for you who have an interest in logistics, material flows, and operations development. You thrive in a role with many contact points and are motivated by creating structure, solving problems, and contributing to efficient operations. To succeed in the role, you are thorough and organized while being able to see the big picture, prioritize when conditions change, and build good relationships through a professional and solution-oriented approach. You also have the ability to analyze information, make sound judgments, and make well-founded decisions based on facts and organizational needs. You are curious about new working methods and digital tools and see opportunities in technical development. We see that you have post-secondary education in logistics, procurement, supply chain, economics, or another field that the employer deems equivalent. You have at least two years of work experience in logistics, warehouse management, material planning, procurement, or similar activities where planning, coordination, and follow-up were part of your responsibilities.
