About the Position: Friday is recruiting on behalf of our client a project manager for our client in Arboga. Our client works with advanced technical solutions in defense, security, and critical infrastructure. You will become part of a larger initiative consisting of several interconnected technical projects within tactical data links and secure communication systems. As project manager, you will be responsible for one of these projects. The project involves a transportable communication system that enables different units to share information and communicate securely with each other. The technical environment includes software development, Linux, system integration, IT security, and complex communication solutions. As project manager, you are responsible for one of the program's ongoing projects and lead a cross-functional team with expertise in system engineering, ILS, technical documentation, and IT security. Several team members are early in their careers. You therefore have an important role in creating structure, confidence, and a common direction for the team. You do not need to be a technical specialist, but you need to understand technical contexts and be comfortable leading complex IT and system projects. Responsibilities: In this role you will, among other things: Plan, lead, and follow up on project implementation Manage timelines, progress, deliverables, and deadlines Coordinate the project team and create clarity regarding responsibilities and priorities Identify risks and alert to deviations from plan or budget Ensure the team has the right conditions to achieve project goals Represent and support the project team in dialogue with the client We are looking for you who: Have previous experience independently driving projects Have worked with technical projects in IT, systems, software development, or system integration Are accustomed to taking responsibility for planning, implementation, and delivery Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Have the ability to work regularly on-site in Arboga It is meritorious if you have: Experience from the defense industry or other security-classified operations Worked with communication systems, telecom, or IT security Experience with Linux-based systems Worked with system integration or systems of systems Experience in software development projects To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are confident, humble, and take initiative.
