CE Truck Driver Night Shifts Sunday to Thursday Based in Almnäs/Södertälje

We are now looking for one or two truck drivers with a CE license, forklift certification, YKB, and preferably ADR PACKED or at least ADR 1.3 for a permanent position with one of our most important and valued clients who operates for DSV and is based in Almnäs just outside Södertälje. Sverigelots provides staffing and transportation solutions within the transport sector. We are a well-established staffing company in the trucking industry and have been operating for 15 years. We have always enjoyed delivering skilled drivers to our clients for both short and long-term assignments. We are now seeking one or two drivers with a CE license, forklift certification, and preferably ADR PACKED or at least ADR 1.3 for a permanent position. The position(s) are intended to start relatively immediately, so if you are interested, please apply or contact us directly by phone for more information. We welcome calls and questions about these positions on weekdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the number specified below. You will become part of our friendly group of positive, cheerful, and responsible colleagues. As a person, you are hardworking, positive, humble, unpretentious, reliable, and have the ambition to always do your best—someone we can rely on completely. We are looking for a couple of drivers with CE licenses for full-time night shifts of 5 nights per week, Sunday to Thursday. Working hours are approximately 6:30 PM to 2:15 AM, with 35 hours per week. The working hours are preliminary for now as this is a startup of a new route. Driving departs from the DSV terminal in Almnäs and you will also end your shift there. You will handle a significant portion of the loading and unloading at the terminal yourself, so experience with forklift operation and an understanding of how to double stack and properly arrange pallets/boxes/crates so everything fits but still arrives undamaged is important. After loading, you take the vehicle to Eskilstuna where you take your 45-minute break and exchange vehicles with the Örebro driver. After that, it's back to the DSV terminal in Almnäs for unloading of the freight on the terminal; there may be a stop at ground level within the area and possibly you leave some goods on the vehicle for the day driver to deliver. The job is not particularly physically demanding but is of a routine nature for terminal loading and unloading. We absolutely welcome applicants aged 50 & 60+ as this is a job we think suits reliable men and women with life experience excellently! If you are eligible for any form of employment support such as a New Start Job, it is always of interest to us, so please mention it in your application. The job is very independent and free—you essentially have no boss looking over your shoulder. The facilities in Almnäs are newly built and fresh. It is important that we feel we can trust you to be a responsible person who can keep to schedules and be present when you should be, even if no one is supervising you. You don't need to be an expert at backing a truck and trailer as there are only a couple of backing maneuvers per shift, in the same gates and in the same locations; you have plenty of time and space. HOWEVER, you must have sufficiently good judgment and experience to avoid damage to vehicles and cargo, THIS IS IMPORTANT! You always automatically think that I'd rather get out of the truck and look an extra time instead of taking a chance when backing. You will get to try out the job for one or a couple of shifts, partly so we can see that you have the necessary experience, partly that you have the right attitude, and partly so that you can test out your future job at your own pace and in the presence of one of our skilled colleagues. Simply get the chance to feel if the job is right for you. We also won't let you go on your own until you feel confident that you know what you're doing. We are happy to practice backing and ride with you until you feel secure. ADR is basically a must, at least 1.3. Qualifications: CE license, YKB, digital driver's license, forklift certification, and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing is important. Furthermore, we expect you to be able to present yourself well and neat, feel a sense of responsibility for your job, as it is an important one. Access to your own vehicle is basically a must. About the job: The job is free and independent. The pay is for hours worked, well-paid, and according to the collective agreement. Welcome to submit your application to [email protected] & please indicate CE Driver Almnäs as a reference or call if you have any questions. About the employer Sverigelots provides staffing and transportation solutions within the transport sector and has been involved in transportation since the 1990s. Since our start, we have had steady growth with very satisfied customers. Everyone who works at Sverigelots is fundamentally a driver. We value our greatest resource—our people! Recruitment is ongoing and things can move quickly, so don't wait to apply if you think the job suits you. Welcome to submit your application. //Team Sverigelots Open to all We focus on your skills, not your other circumstances. We are open to adapting the role or workplace to your needs.
