The Communications Department works strategically and operationally to put Mittuniversitetet's education and research on the map. We work on recruiting students, making research visible, and creating good relationships internally and externally. We also keep employees and our surroundings updated on what's happening at our institution. Communications activities are centralized and all communicators at the university are part of the department. Are you a proud student at Mittuniversitetet and want to help recruit new students and work on activities aimed at our current students? We are looking for students from both our campus locations as well as distance students. What program you study doesn't matter. What's important is that you want to inspire others to study with us and represent the university in accordance with our values. You will also work to create pride among our current students. Responsibilities Participate in student recruitment efforts. This could include, for example, chatting with prospective students during the application period or representing Mittuniversitetet at physical and digital events, such as fairs, webinars, Open House, school visits for primary and secondary school students, or study visits. Create digital content in Swedish and English in the form of posts and reels on Mittuniversitetet's social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Be an extra when we film videos about Mittuniversitetet and take photos for our image library. Your Background We are looking for someone who: Is a student at Mittuniversitetet Has good oral and written skills in Swedish and English It is a merit if you: Have experience working with children and young people (sports leader, part-time school work, siblings, etc.). Speak and write one (or more) of the following languages: Arabic, Kurdish, Persian, Somali, or Tigrinya. Have experience creating content for social media such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Are experienced in creating video content that requires editing. Have previous experience working as a Student Ambassador or Digital Ambassador at Mittuniversitetet. Have a driver's license. About the Assignment As an operational move coordinator, you are responsible for managing the practical work surrounding a major facility relocation. You ensure that activities are planned, coordinated, and executed, while capturing questions that arise along the way and driving them to resolution. You are the person who ensures that moving boxes end up in the right place, that coffee cups find their way into kitchen cabinets, that curtains hang where they should, and that employees can sit down on a chair and start working on the first day in the new premises. Behind these details lies a large number of activities, deliveries, and dependencies that need to be coordinated. Your task is to hold everything together, create momentum, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
