Magnetic Analysis Nordic AB develops and manufactures equipment for non-destructive testing. Ultrasonic, eddy current, and leakage field are some of the test methods we use. Our customers, located around the world, are mainly active in the steel industry. The company is a subsidiary of the American company Magnetic Analysis Corporation based in New York. The company has over 95 years of experience in the industry with its own staff and representatives worldwide. At our facility located in Östersund, there are currently 18 people working. We are looking for someone with academic education and/or several years of experience in system installation, maintenance and service, as well as troubleshooting within the test methods eddy current, leakage field, and ultrasonic. As a person, you are thorough and persistent, and can work independently toward defined delivery deadlines. You place high value on order and organization. You are also someone who can work in a team with active engagement. The position includes preventive and corrective maintenance of delivered equipment and systems at customer sites. This includes both mechanical and electrical components in equipment. Installation of equipment and systems, including commissioning, handover, and training, is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, visits to customers for annual calibration of delivered equipment. Travel is primarily to our customers in Europe, but travel to other parts of the world may also occur.
