We are looking for a Registered Nurse for Dementia/Somatic Care Facility

Then you've come to the right place! At Attendo, we are now seeking a licensed registered nurse for our facility Attendo Vårdbo in Vallentuna. Vårdbo is a small, family-like residential home with 33 places distributed across 4 units, 3 dementia units and 1 somatic unit. About the Role The position is between 80-95% on a rotating 6-week schedule with service every 3rd weekend. Shifts are daytime on weekdays 08:00-16:00 and weekends 08:00-14:00. Full-time equivalent is 37 hours/week. You will have nursing care responsibility for 2 units, which includes patient safety work, assessment of residents' health status, support to next of kin, training and guidance for nursing assistants/care personnel. You work as part of a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, physicians and rehabilitation staff. We work with several different quality registries such as Senior Alert, BPSD and the palliative care registry. As a nurse at our facilities, you will have varied work where you work long-term with health plans to increase quality of life for residents, but you are also the one who makes assessments and decides on measures in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. You have a management role with great opportunities to influence the operation. As a nurse within Attendo, you are valuable and your expertise is highly appreciated. The work is independent while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed registered nurse Minimum 5 years of professional experience, of which at least 2 years of experience in elderly care You have fluent knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing Meritorious if you also have Experience working in private care operations Experience in supervision/mentoring Education in geriatrics What Can We Offer You? Our residents often have multiple medical conditions, which requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in aging people. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
