About the role As a childcare worker at a Dibber preschool, you are responsible for ensuring that our pedagogical approach permeates your work. You observe, articulate, and reinforce situations that build trusting relationships, where children and adults are equal, you work to create a positive community in both the care of children and in meeting with guardians, as well as in your work team. You contribute knowledge and creativity, commitment to learning, and show patience. You celebrate the successes of children and colleagues, big and small, and rejoice in their new knowledge and discoveries. Your qualifications Trained childcare worker or similar, or other experience deemed equivalent for the position. Excellent communication skills Very good proficiency in Swedish, both written and verbal Experience and interest in digital tools and systems Collaborative ability and approach to sharing knowledge and experience for collegial learning About us Dibber was established in Sweden in 2017 and currently operates preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, and open preschools. Edda Förskola AB is an independent preschool operator established in 2012 in southern Uppsala (Gottsunda) where we run four preschools inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our mission is to make a difference for every child and provide them with quality education in their first educational journey. At our preschools, we place great emphasis on children's language development. Qualifications and Responsibilities: We are looking for you—someone who is dedicated in your role as a childcare worker and wants to be part of developing our operations together with your colleagues. You are a team player who relates to others in a responsive and flexible way, while wanting to grow together with your colleagues and share your thoughts on pedagogical work. The majority of our child groups have a first language other than Swedish, so it is important that you have experience working on language development together with your colleagues at the preschool. As someone working at Edda Förskola, you are a guiding adult who supports children in their play and communication, as well as interaction with others. You should be a co-inquirer and be present with the children. It is important that you are curious about children's questions and have confidence in children's competence. You will work closely with preschool teachers, childcare workers, the principal, and other staff members who are part of the team to see each child's needs. You should be well familiar with the preschool's governing documents. You maintain good communication with guardians and colleagues at the preschool.
