About the Assignment As a nurse in the pediatric emergency department, you will meet children and young people with varying acute care needs. The work requires good clinical assessment skills, flexibility, and the ability to quickly prioritize when situations change. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals. Your tasks may include: Assessment and care of acutely ill children and young people Prioritization based on the patient's condition and care needs Clinical observation and continuous monitoring Specimen collection and medication management Documentation according to departmental procedures Information and support for children and their loved ones Close collaboration with doctors and other professionals For You With the Right Experience We are looking for you who: Are a licensed nurse Have current and relevant experience in pediatric care and/or pediatric emergency medicine Are confident with independent clinical assessments Can prioritize and act in a structured manner even when the pace is high Have a secure and professional approach to children and their loved ones Have good collaboration skills Speak and write Swedish fluently Specialist training in pediatrics and youth medicine is a plus.
