We also provide operations services, internal mail handling, and custodial services. We are approximately 350 employees and together we clean 510,000 square meters daily across schools, senior care facilities, and other municipal buildings. Work as a Facilities Attendant As a facilities attendant with us, you have an important role in creating clean, safe, and sustainable environments. Your responsibilities: Daily cleaning, scheduled deep cleaning, and floor maintenance. Operation of cleaning machinery. Maintenance of cleaning equipment and machines. Ordering of cleaning supplies. About You We are looking for someone who values order and organization and wants to contribute to continuous improvement. You are comfortable working independently and collaborating with colleagues. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate and follow instructions. Class B driver's license and access to your own vehicle. Merits: Certification in SRY, PRYL, or similar. Elder care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life. At the care and residential home Prästsjögården there are 70 apartments distributed across six units. Prästsjögården is located in the beautiful sculpture park in the Umedalsområdet area, approximately 7 km from Umeå city center, which invites outdoor activities in a beautiful environment. Each unit has a large patio or balcony that is used as soon as the weather permits. We are now hiring two service resources! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a receptionist/facility services worker with us, you provide important service and enable initiatives that impact many. The primary task as a facility services worker is large-scale cleaning where the goal is to reduce disease transmission and improve comfort for the people of Västerbotten and employees in our facilities. Large-scale cleaning also includes floor care. Work as a cleaner with pool assignments means that in addition to large-scale cleaning, you cover absences across all our operations. You will therefore be trained as a transporter, mail carrier, and service assistant. At reception, you are the face of Region Västerbotten and often the first person our patients meet.
