Digitalization and Service has the mission to provide primarily health and medical care with excellent service and develop digital solutions, all to improve outcomes for our citizens. This includes the base units Internal Logistics, CIMT, Facilities, and Service. The Service base unit delivers high-quality service at all hospitals in Västerbotten. We handle patient transport, facility services, reception staffing, and switchboard operations.
At Lycksele Hospital, there are approximately 50 employees responsible for facility services, internal logistics, reception, entrance services, patient transport, employee housing, and food services.
We are now seeking an employee who would like a shared position between reception and facility services. Here we work both independently and as a team, helping each other solve problems that arise and supporting one another in daily work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a receptionist/facility services worker with us, you provide important service and enable initiatives that impact many.
The primary task as a facility services worker is large-scale cleaning where the goal is to reduce disease transmission and improve comfort for the people of Västerbotten and employees in our facilities. Large-scale cleaning also includes floor care.
Work as a cleaner with pool assignments means that in addition to large-scale cleaning, you cover absences across all our operations. You will therefore be trained as a transporter, mail carrier, and service assistant.
At reception, you are the face of Region Västerbotten and often the first person our patients meet. You check in patients and help them feel secure before their healthcare visit.
Working hours are variable with shift work possible and weekend work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with at least upper secondary education. Previous experience in facility services is meritorious, as is having a cleaning certification. Computer skills are also meritorious. Driver's license category B is required. It is meritorious if you have experience with reception work or other administrative experience.
The work is characterized by many contact points in a hospital environment, which places high demands on being service-oriented and flexible. You need to be able to treat patients and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner. In your work, you need to be able to collaborate with your colleagues, be flexible, and take shared responsibility for the work. You have the ability to organize and prioritize your work.
You have a good demeanor and are solution-focused with both patients and staff. You understand that you are an important function that contributes to our ability to meet our goal of providing excellent service to everyone we encounter.
The ability to speak, read, and write in Swedish is necessary to understand and follow instructions. Swedish level D or equivalent knowledge is required.
