What Does the Job Involve?
Days are varied with great opportunity to contribute to people's quality of life. As a home care worker, you perform cleaning and service tasks based on the client's individual needs and wishes. The position is a combination of home cleaning and home care services, which also includes typical home care duties. The most important thing is that you enjoy building relationships and are good with people.
What Background Do I Need?
For some, this might be a great chance to get a first job. For others, it's about being tired of their current field and wanting to do something meaningful. For a third person, it might be a desire to continue in facility care but change employers. There's no single answer – we recruit people who have a solution-focused approach, empathetic values, and want to grow with us.
Does It Matter If I Don't Have Relevant Experience?
Yes, of course we see it as positive if you've worked as a facility cleaner or in care/health services and did well! Education and/or experience in cleaning, preferably home cleaning, moving cleanup, and window washing are merits but not requirements.
Isn't Working as a Home Care Worker in Care Very Tough?
It absolutely can be, and that's how development in care and health services generally looks. That was also one of the reasons we started in 2013, with a conviction that we can do things a bit differently and continuously improve our operations with a focus on those we exist for – the elderly.
