Your Responsibilities As a department store associate with us, your tasks may vary depending on which department you work in. Common responsibilities include unpacking and hanging clothes, retrieving merchandise from the warehouse and restocking the store, merchandising, sorting, and maintaining order throughout the store and on shelves. You may also work at one of our 82 checkout stations, where the main responsibility is to scan items and process payments using the various payment solutions we provide. Working at our checkout stations is a social role where you have a great opportunity to influence customers' overall experience through your service and customer care. You will assist and serve our customers with professional service, always keeping the customer's best interests in focus. Our working hours are between 06:00–22:15, and you will typically work 6–8 hours per shift. You will work day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts. The employment runs until mid-December at the latest (subject to exceptions). We are now seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who wants to strengthen our presence in digital channels and help inspire our customers before, during, and after their visits to us. As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will work together with your colleagues in the marketing department to plan, create, and publish content across our digital channels. In this role, you will among other things: Publish and develop content for website, newsletters, and social media Create digital materials for campaigns and marketing activities Create and adapt content in various formats, including video material Monitor, analyze, and develop our digital communication Contribute to developing our digital channels and online customer experience You will be part of the marketing department and work closely with colleagues in communication, production, and content. We are now seeking a sustainability strategist with a particular focus on climate who wants to develop, analyze, and strengthen Gekås' sustainability efforts. About the Role The sustainability strategist role is a newly established position where you will have a central role in developing and analyzing Gekås' sustainability work. You will work cross-functionally with different parts of the organization and contribute to ensuring that our sustainability reporting meets applicable legal requirements. You will have a unique opportunity to work together with the sustainability director and management to shape the role and contribute to the development of Gekås' sustainability efforts with a particular focus on climate. You will report to the sustainability director.
