We are now seeking a sustainability strategist with a particular focus on climate who wants to develop, analyze, and strengthen Gekås' sustainability efforts.
About the Role
The sustainability strategist role is a newly established position where you will have a central role in developing and analyzing Gekås' sustainability work. You will work cross-functionally with different parts of the organization and contribute to ensuring that our sustainability reporting meets applicable legal requirements.
You will have a unique opportunity to work together with the sustainability director and management to shape the role and contribute to the development of Gekås' sustainability efforts with a particular focus on climate. You will report to the sustainability director.
Your Main Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and monitor climate data (scope 1, 2, and 3)
Develop climate calculations and contribute to Gekås' climate transition plan
Ensure climate-related reporting according to CSRD and other regulations
Identify and analyze climate-related risks and opportunities
Drive and monitor climate goals and propose and develop climate initiatives
Work closely with operations and suppliers to reduce climate impact
Contribute to the development of sustainability strategy with a particular focus on climate
Stay informed about legal requirements, trends, and developments in the climate field
Work with climate calculations, scenario analyses, and climate transition planning
About You
You have a strong commitment to climate issues and sustainable development
You have relevant education in areas such as environment, sustainability, or economics
You have experience with climate calculations (GHG Protocol, scope 1–3)
You have good knowledge of frameworks and regulations such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and GRI
You are analytical, structured, and have a strong ability to communicate complex information
You are self-driven and entrepreneurial, and thrive in a cross-functional working approach
