Your Responsibilities As a department store associate with us, your tasks may vary depending on which department you work in. Common responsibilities include unpacking and hanging clothes, retrieving merchandise from the warehouse and restocking the store, merchandising, sorting, and maintaining order throughout the store and on shelves. You may also work at one of our 82 checkout stations, where the main responsibility is to scan items and process payments using the various payment solutions we provide. Working at our checkout stations is a social role where you have a great opportunity to influence customers' overall experience through your service and customer care. You will assist and serve our customers with professional service, always keeping the customer's best interests in focus. We are Looking for You You have a strong sense of personal service and sales You enjoy working together with others and have good collaboration skills You are proactive and thrive in a fast-paced and social environment You have a positive attitude and show respect and friendliness in your interactions Schedule and Hours If you are hired at Gekås Ullared this fall, we can offer you a schedule of approximately 3-5 working days per week, and there is also the possibility to work weekends and holidays only. Our working hours are between 06:00–22:15, and you will typically work 6–8 hours per shift. You will work day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts. The employment runs until mid-December at the latest (subject to exceptions).
