Personal Trainer - Sought for Stockholm and Surrounding Area
We believe in movement. The training we do within our walls makes us better equipped for life outside. Challenges, setbacks, and everything else that comes with being human becomes a little easier to carry when the body is strong and gets to move. Right now, perhaps more than ever, society needs to be filled with people who feel good. For the ripples on the water to grow wider, we need to lower the barriers and make training more accessible. That's where STC comes in. Together we will improve public health, one step and one push-up at a time, and lead more people to a place where they can become a better version of themselves. We are continuously seeking experienced and licensed PTs for our gyms in Stockholm and the surrounding area. At STC you get an environment built for you to focus on what you do best. You get access to our gyms and members, individual coaching to continue developing as a PT, and a bonus model that rewards your results. We are also continuing to grow and open more gyms, which creates new opportunities for you if you want to develop with us. Here's what your day looks like A typical day is guided by your clients' schedules, not your own. You arrive well before a session, have prepared the plan, know what you need to focus on and what you need to adapt. The next few minutes matter for the person who finally took the step to book their first appointment, for the one who has struggled with the same movement for three weeks, and for the one who has a goal that feels impossible but that you know is within reach. You are a key person in your clients' lives, not just in their training. You see it in how they stand a little straighter after a few months, how they talk about training differently, how they start coming to the gym even on days they haven't booked time with you. That's what you build, a relationship and a habit that lasts. In practice, you combine the role of trainer, coach, and salesperson. You conduct individual sessions of high quality, follow up on results, and adapt the plan based on each client's needs and progress. You actively build your own client base, market your services, and collaborate with gym staff and colleagues to help more members find you as their PT. You participate in events and trial sessions and are a natural ambassador for the culture we want at the gym. Working hours are on your clients' terms; evenings and weekends are part of everyday life. Who you are You are the kind of person who notices when a client seems to be having a tough day and knows whether you should push or hold back. You read people and adapt without losing direction in the session. You understand that your job doesn't end when the hour is over, that it's in the follow-up, in the small message, and in the continuity that change actually happens. You are curious about training as a craft. New methods, new research, new ways to get a person to move better and feel stronger. You see your responsibility as bigger than the individual session and understand that success is when the client comes back, and when they start coming to the gym even on days they haven't booked time with you. To apply, you need to be at least 18 years old and speak and write fluent Swedish and/or English. If you have experience as a personal trainer, you must also be licensed. What awaits you Imagine it's been a year. A client who came in uncertain and hesitant now trains three times a week and has started recommending you to their friends. You have a well-built client base, may have specialized in an area you're passionate about, and may be the one who takes care of new PTs when they start. Or you've taken a step toward leadership in the training operations. The opportunity is there, it's up to you how far you want to go. How does it work? The path from application to employee is simpler than you think, and we're with you all the way. 1. Apply. Tell us who you are and what drives you. 2. Recruitment process. We'll get in touch, get to know you, and tell you more about what it's like to work as a PT with us. Together we'll find the right gym and the right setup for you. 3. Onboarding. Get started, build your client base, and receive a guaranteed salary during the transition period. Do you have questions? Contact our Joel Wästgårds (PT and gym training manager) at [email protected]
