Coordination of the regional physical planning mandate under the Planning and Building Act is a unique assignment shared only by Region Skåne, Region Stockholm, and Region Halland. We are located at Dockan in Malmö, but the position involves travel throughout Skåne. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a process leader, you have a key role in developing the regional plan for Skåne. You are responsible for leading the process work in close collaboration with the project manager and ensuring that the process moves forward in a structured and inclusive manner. In this role, you lead complex and cross-sectoral processes that bring together actors from the public sector, business, academia, and civil society around issues concerning Skåne's long-term physical development. You initiate and drive strategic initiatives within areas such as physical planning, social sustainability, and climate transition, and translate research, analyses, and external knowledge into concrete initiatives and development efforts. The role also includes representing Region Skåne in external contexts and developing and strengthening collaborations within Region Skåne's organization to create favorable conditions for sustainable urban development. QUALIFICATIONS To thrive and succeed in this role, you are an experienced process leader with the ability to lead cross-disciplinary development processes within the urban development field. You are a skilled relationship builder who establishes trusting collaborations and creates engagement among various stakeholders. You are communicative, have a strong ability to represent the business in different contexts, and feel confident in dialogue with both internal and external actors. We are also looking for someone with a strong interest in the external environment and the ability to identify trends and development issues relevant to future urban development. As a person, you are organized, driven, and have the ability to translate ideas, analyses, and knowledge into concrete initiatives and results. You also have a good understanding of the issues and challenges that characterize today's societal development. Regarding formal requirements, you have an academic education in urban planning or other relevant education. You have several years of experience leading processes in complex contexts where collaboration between multiple actors is an important part of the assignment. Furthermore, you have experience working in one or more of the following areas: urban development, comprehensive planning, social sustainability, or climate transition. You also have good ability to communicate in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have experience working in the public sector, international collaborations or projects, or experience with practice-oriented or applied research.
