The Water and Wastewater business area consists of approximately 45 employees and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pressure booster stations, reservoirs and pipe networks, as well as expansion of the water and wastewater infrastructure. The business has approximately 7,000 customers and plays an important role in Lidköping's development and work towards a sustainable society. In the coming years, the business will face an exciting development phase with expansion of the pipe network and construction of the new modern wastewater treatment plant Ängens ARV. This investment is an important part of Lidköping's continued development, with a focus on sustainable wastewater treatment, innovation and improved water quality. The Role of Unit Manager – Both Strategic and Operational We are looking for a unit manager who wants to lead and develop our water and wastewater operations. The unit is responsible for the operation and maintenance of our water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and water towers, as well as for meter replacements at our customers' facilities. Going forward, the organization may develop so that strategic functions and project implementation at the facilities are also brought within the unit. As unit manager, you have overall responsibility for the operation of our water and wastewater facilities, excluding the pipe network. You lead and develop the business and ensure efficient and sustainable operations in accordance with applicable legal requirements. The unit currently consists of two operations managers and ten operations and meter technicians. Within the business area there are also support functions in the form of environmental engineers, process engineer, control and regulation engineer, project manager, operations and project support, and safety coordinator. Your Main Responsibilities The role combines responsibility for daily operations with a long-term perspective on business development. The role includes: Planning and leading the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities, initiating modernization measures and ensuring required meter replacements at our customers' premises. Having personnel responsibility and developing your employees, both as a group and as individuals. Together with your team, ensuring high-quality and sustainable access to clean water and safe operation of the facilities around the clock, year-round. Responsibility for budgets, monitoring and resource planning in both the short and long term. Ensuring that applicable permit and environmental requirements as well as occupational health and safety requirements are met. Developing routines and processes and ensuring a strategic plan for future reinvestment in the facilities. Collaborating with other parts of the business, adjacent technical areas and departments, as well as external parties in development projects. Participating in the Water and Wastewater management group. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with experience leading people and technical operations. We are looking for someone who has: Relevant academic degree in engineering, water and wastewater or similar field, or alternatively experience that we consider equivalent. Experience with operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities, preferably from municipal water and wastewater operations, or alternatively experience from process industry. Several years of experience in personnel management and leading technical operations teams. Driver's license category B. Good understanding of occupational health, safety, environmental and procurement requirements. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing and good documentation skills. Make a Real Difference – Personal Assistant to a Cheerful Young Woman in Lidköping!

Do you want meaningful work where your presence and patience truly matter? We're now looking for a dedicated assistant to a 22-year-old cheerful young woman who loves music, swimming, and long walks. About the Role As a personal assistant, you are her source of security in daily life. Since she lives with CCHS (Ondine's syndrome), she breathes with the help of a ventilator while sleeping, and during the day you help her with the care of her tracheostomy. Through your attention and calm demeanor, you create a safe environment where she can thrive, despite challenges with communication. Since she is non-verbal and has autism, you need to be attentive to her way of expressing herself. Your most important task is to understand her needs and be there as support in all daily activities – both at home and during her everyday activities. Who Are You? We place great importance on your personality and your ability to build relationships. Patient & Attentive: You have the ability to stay calm even when communication is challenging. Respectful: You understand and respect the dynamics of working in a private family home. Reliable: You're comfortable taking responsibility and staying alert and awake, even during night shifts. Requirements: Driver's license and access to a car, as well as a criminal records clearance. Meritorious: Experience with autism or working with non-verbal individuals. What We Offer Thorough Introduction: Are you new to the profession? No problem! We provide approximately 50 hours of training where you'll learn everything about the ventilator, tracheostomy care, and how to best support our client. Flexibility: The position is 85-95% with good opportunities for additional hours. Varied Work Shifts: Shifts vary between 7–13 hours (24-hour assistance, awake nights).
