Specialist, Care-Focused System Management Unit, Region Västernorrland

About the Operation The IT Support operational area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and shared processes for the area. It also provides services within these areas. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The operation's mandate is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services and telephony to the region's activities. Deliveries occur through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT largely operates as a client organization since large portions of the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic journal system, and the unit focuses on care-focused management and development. We are now seeking a specialist for the care-focused system management unit. You will work within the Care Support and e-health management object. The unit is responsible for care-focused system management of healthcare systems and e-services via 1177. You work closely with healthcare operations and help ensure that systems function in the daily work of healthcare professionals. The assignment involves developing, managing, and improving system support. Systems used for, among other things, healthcare administration, documentation, medication management, orders, test results, and digital services for residents. In this role, you help ensure that solutions support safe work practices, efficient workflows, and usable system support in healthcare's daily operations. This is a permanent, full-time position with a start date by agreement. If needed, the possibility of clinical work as part of the role may be offered. Work locations are Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, or Sollefteå. Duties Manage cases related to Orbit/PasIva and ensure they are followed up and addressed Engage in dialogue with super-users and operations to identify needs and support system use Participate in user forums and collaborate with other regions using Orbit and PasIva Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager Quality assure documentation and contribute to maintaining high quality of system data and functionality Contribute to completing management plan activities according to schedule Coordinate training needs and plan and carry out training initiatives for the operation Analyze operational needs and translate them into concrete improvement suggestions for systems and work practices Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and system version upgrades Qualifications We are looking for you who: Have post-secondary education in IT, healthcare, or other education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience Have experience working with healthcare information systems Have work experience in care-focused system management or similar work Have good knowledge of digitalization and how IT support can contribute to operational development Have experience working independently and managing multiple parallel tasks Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Hold a B-category driver's license It is meritorious if you: Have education in system management, IT management models (for example PM3 or ITIL) or information systems Have clinical education (for example, registered nurse, medical secretary, or equivalent) Have work experience in system management of healthcare systems, for example Orbit or PasIva Have work experience in change work, testing, and implementation of new system versions Have work experience planning and carrying out training initiatives Have work experience collaborating with suppliers and external parties Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Stable Relationship-building Collaboration skills Self-driving Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the activities that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
