About the Operation IT Operations' mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's operations. Deliveries take place through projects, management, and support for complex and vital operations. IT also works extensively as a client organization since the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. Within IT, approximately 90 people work, all with varying backgrounds and experience. We strive for an open work environment where we help each other develop. Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. This is not a classic operations role. This is an opportunity to become a platform expert in one of our biggest development leaps. We are seeking an IT Specialist who wants to take a comprehensive approach to our ESM platform - from structure and data model to integrations and development. We are now recruiting two complementary roles - an object specialist and an IT specialist - who will work closely together. You will have the opportunity to step in at an early stage, together with a colleague in a similar situation, where you collectively build up working methods, structure, and development around our new platform. It is an advantage if you like understanding how things connect at a deeper level. As an IT Specialist, you will be technically responsible for the platform. You ensure that it functions, holds together, and can be developed over time - without us becoming dependent on consultants. Here you get the chance to build something that becomes really good over time. You work closely with an object specialist where together you are responsible for the platform developing in line with the organization's needs and technical conditions. The roles are designed to complement each other and give you the opportunity, together with your colleague, to shape working methods, structure, and priorities from the start. Responsibilities You will Work with platform configuration and further development Manage data models, relationships, and structure Build and maintain automations and rules Work with integrations and technical connections Work with permissions, CMDB, and troubleshooting Support the object specialist and organization with technical matters You are the one who ensures that the platform is sustainable, scalable, and developable. Qualifications We are looking for you who Have at least two years of documented work experience in the field of system management and platforms Have previous experience working with technical management of IT systems and IT services in complex operations, for example in a region, municipality, or in the private sector Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing Have a B driver's license It is advantageous if you Have an academic degree in the areas of systems science and information security or equivalent competence deemed relevant Have training and knowledge in ITIL, pm3, CMDB, ITSM, or ESM tools Have experience with integrations and APIs Have experience working with automation and rule-based governance To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities Flexible Collaboration skills Structured Self-driven Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
