About the Operations The IT Operations mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's activities. Deliveries are made through projects, management, and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a client organization since the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider. Within IT, approximately 90 people work, all with varying backgrounds and experience. We strive for an open work environment where we help each other develop. Our operations are mainly located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. This is not a classic operations role. This is an opportunity to become a platform expert in one of our biggest development leaps. We are looking for an IT specialist who wants to take a comprehensive approach to our ESM platform - from structure and data model to integrations and development. We are now recruiting two complementary roles - an object specialist and an IT specialist - who will work closely together. You will have the opportunity to step in at an early stage, together with a colleague in a similar situation, where you jointly build up working methods, structure, and development around our new platform. Here it is an advantage if you enjoy understanding how things connect in depth. As an IT specialist, you become technically responsible for the platform. You ensure that it functions, is coherent, and can be developed over time - without us becoming dependent on consultants. Here you have the chance to build something that becomes really good over time. You work closely with an object specialist where you together are responsible for developing the platform in line with the business needs and technical conditions. The roles are designed to complement each other and give you the opportunity, together with your colleague, to shape working methods, structure, and priorities from the start. Work Tasks You will Work with configuration and further development of the platform Manage data models, relationships, and structure Build and maintain automations and rule systems Work with integrations and technical connections Work with access rights, CMDB, and troubleshooting Support the object specialist and operations with technical questions You are the one who ensures the platform is sustainable, scalable, and developmental QualificationsWe are looking for someone who Has at least two years of documented work experience in the field of system management and platforms Has previous experience working with technical management of IT systems and IT services in complex operations, for example a region, municipality, or in the private sector Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing Holds a category B driver's license It is advantageous if you Have an academic degree in the fields of systems science and information security or equivalent competence that is deemed to be relevant Have training and knowledge in ITIL, pm3, CMDB, ITSM, or ESM tools Have experience with integrations and APIs Have experience working with automation and rule-based management For you to succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities Flexible Collaboration skills Structured Self-driven Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the activities that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
