Specialist Physician in Breast Radiology for the Mammography Unit

The Mammography Unit is a county-wide service located in Gävle, Bollnäs, and Hudiksvall. We perform nearly all types of mammography examinations, ultrasound, and biopsies, and conduct both mammography screening and diagnostic activities. The service is technology and knowledge-intensive and requires continuous development. We have a well-staffed physician team with a total of five senior physicians with extensive knowledge and experience in mammography. Our primary mission is to invite participants to the screening program and subsequent diagnostic workups. We also care for clinical breast patients. The clinic in Hudiksvall is Hälsingland's only ear, nose, and throat facility and serves a catchment area of approximately 130,000 patients. We are located in newly built facilities at Hudiksvall Hospital, with facility planning and procurement of new state-of-the-art equipment conducted in consultation with staff.
