The Neurology Clinic is responsible for the neurological specialty area and is an outpatient facility serving patients in Gävleborg and northern Hälsingland. The clinic receives patients with a broad spectrum of neurological diagnoses, giving you as a neurologist the opportunity to use your full expertise and stay current across all areas of neurology. We also have a day care unit for infusion treatments. At the neurology clinic, we are a dedicated team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation coordinators, neuropsychologists, resident physicians, and specialist physicians. Connected to the clinic is also a multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation team and an ALS team.

WORK TASKS
With us you will work with varied tasks. We frequently collaborate with university hospitals and participate in various highly specialized rounds, such as neurodegenerative rounds, epilepsy rounds, and neurophysiology rounds. Our digital working methods also enable part of the work to be performed remotely. Work takes place during daytime Monday to Friday (no on-call duty).
As a specialist physician you will, among other things, work with
• clinic visits and assessing incoming referrals
• consultation regarding neurological questions from inpatient and primary care
• supervising physicians in training at candidate, AT, and ST levels.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is responsible, professional, and flexible. In your work you are solution-focused and have good collaborative skills as the work involves collaboration with multiple professions and patients. You must also have good organizational skills and be able to work independently. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
In the role of specialist physician in neurology you should
• have Swedish medical license with specialist certification in neurology
• be able to communicate in Swedish in both speech and writing at least C1 level.
