As the leader of Customer & Business, you will become a central part of ESEM's executive management and take on a key role in developing how we meet our customers, strengthen our business, and create value for Eskilstuna and Strängnäs. Learn more about us at www.esem.se Your responsibilities You lead Customer & Business with approximately 60 employees across several departments responsible for customer service, sales, marketing and communications, business support, and electricity trading. You are supported by five department managers who, together with you, drive the operations' development and results. Customer & Business plays a central role in developing ESEM's customer relationships, business capabilities, and market position. Through customer insights, sales, communications, and business support, the business area creates the conditions for strong customer experiences, sustainable growth, and long-term value for customers, owners, and society. Development in the energy and environmental sector is moving rapidly. Electrification, sustainable transformation, digitalization, and changing customer expectations place new demands on how we develop our offerings and meet our customers. Customer & Business is undergoing purposeful development where we strengthen our customer focus, further develop the customer journey, and capitalize on opportunities within digitalization to create even greater value for our customers. You are part of the executive management and report directly to the CEO. Education and experience We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing managers, developing operations, and driving change in complex organizations. You have experience translating strategy into implementation and creating conditions for development in areas such as customer relations, business, digitalization, and operational development. You have relevant academic education or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience from the energy sector is a merit, but we also welcome candidates from other industries with similar assignments and challenges. Experience working in a politically governed organization or other operations with many stakeholders is an advantage. Personal qualities As a leader, you create direction, engagement, and conditions for others to succeed. You build trustful relationships, promote collaboration, and have the ability to unite people around common goals even during times of change. You are strategic and analytical while having strong personal drive and a good ability to translate ideas into results. You communicate clearly, make decisions when needed, and have the courage to drive development even when the path forward is not obvious.
