We are seeking an engagement developer who wants to help strengthen young people's opportunities to influence society in Värmland. As an engagement developer, you are responsible for creating engagement, building relationships, and implementing activities that strengthen youth influence and participation. You work closely with young people, but also with decision-makers, professionals, and other partners who want to develop their work with youth influence. About the Project Youth Hub Värmland is a development project where Youth 2030 Movement, together with Region Värmland and other regional and local actors, is exploring how the public sector can better include young people in decisions and societal development. Through workshops, dialogues, pilots, and co-creation with young people, the project develops new ways of working and structures that enable youth influence. The role is based at the Region's office in Karlstad and involves travel within Värmland. Youth 2030 Movement is a non-profit association that brings together democracy activists, young leaders, children's rights advocates, and allied adults. We are convinced that Sweden needs a power shift – that democracy becomes greater and stronger if young people have more influence over societal development. We have our sights set on 2030. Until then, we are fighting for a lowered voting age and to change how decision-makers in municipalities, regions, and authorities view young people. We do this by challenging, supporting, and contributing new ways of working, analyses, and proven methods for inclusion. We will not stop until every young person in Sweden has the power to influence society and their own lives. Together, we break down barriers between youth and power.
