The pharmacy is located in the same building as a healthcare center and in the nearby area there are shops, restaurants, and close proximity to public transportation. Our typical customers are elderly people with many prescriptions but also families with children. We also have a large, well-stocked self-care department. You work together with a competent and collaborative team consisting of three pharmacists and two pharmacy technicians who jointly take responsibility for the pharmacy and contribute to customer experience. Daily work is varied and includes everything from advising and selling medications and self-care products to inventory management, campaigns, quality work, and development. The role also includes the following areas of responsibility and tasks: Dispense the correct medication to each customer and offer professional patient advice while contributing to a high-quality customer experience. Promote participation and good cooperation within the pharmacy and together with colleagues create positive group dynamics. We deliver medications daily to a large number of nursing homes and care facilities in Sundsvall which creates good contact with care personnel and home care services. We handle requisitions and licensed medications. The pharmacy is open 08:30-18:00 on weekdays, 10:00-14:00 on Saturdays We offer a permanent full-time position and you are welcome to join pharmacy manager Ingela Kankainen's team. We are accredited according to ISO 15189:2022 and are part of the regional healthcare area for somatic care. The operations include clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, transfusion medicine, pathology and cytology, with laboratories in Örnsköldsvik, Sollefteå and Sundsvall. Clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine are operated around the clock, and blood donation also takes place in Härnösand. Approximately 145 employees work with us in various professions, including doctors, biomedical scientists, chemists, molecular biologists and IT engineers. Together we perform approximately 7 million analyses per year. Now we are looking for a medical technology engineer for our team! The position is a permanent full-time employment, with start date November 1, 2026 or by agreement. Job responsibilities You work regionally within Regional Laboratory Medicine and are responsible for operation, maintenance and development of medical technology equipment. The work takes place in close cooperation with the operations staff and external suppliers. Your responsibilities include: Planned and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment Troubleshooting and remedial measures for operational failures Calibration and verification of measuring instruments Participation in procurement of medical technology equipment Technical responsibility for instruments and systems Delivery inspections for new equipment implementation Development and monitoring of service agreements Investigation and handling of medical technology deviations Ongoing contact and cooperation with suppliers and internal users The work places high demands on good communication skills, computer proficiency and a structured working method.
