About the Business The IT Operations department's mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services to the region's operations. Deliveries occur through projects, management and support to a complex and vital operation. IT also works extensively as a client organization since the region's IT operations are managed by an external provider. Our operations are mainly located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik and Sollefteå. This is not a classic operations role. This is an opportunity to become a platform expert in one of our biggest development steps. We are seeking an IT Specialist who wants to take a comprehensive approach to our ESM platform - from structure and data model to integrations and development. We are now recruiting two complementary roles - an object specialist and an IT specialist - who will work closely together. You will have the opportunity to step in at an early stage, alongside a colleague in a similar situation, where together you will build approaches, structure and development around our new platform. As an IT Specialist, you will be technically responsible for the platform. You ensure that it works, is cohesive and can be developed over time - without us becoming dependent on consultants. You work closely with an object specialist where together you are responsible for the platform developing in line with the business needs and technical conditions. The roles are designed to complement each other and give you the opportunity to shape approaches, structure and priorities from the start together with your colleague. Work Tasks You will Work with configuration and further development of the platform Manage data models, relationships and structure Build and maintain automations and rule sets Work with integrations and technical connections Work with permissions, CMDB and troubleshooting Support the object specialist and business in technical matters You are the one who ensures that the platform is sustainable, scalable and developable QualificationsWe are looking for youWho has an academic degree in the areas of systems science and information security or equivalent competence deemed relevant Who has at least three years of documented work experience in the field of system management and platforms Who has previous experience working with technical management of IT systems and IT services in complex operations, for example in a region, municipality or in the private sector Who has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing Who has a B driver's license It is meritorious if youHave education and knowledge in ITIL, pm3, CMDB, ITSM or ESM tools Have experience with integrations and APIs Have experience working with automation and rule-based management To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal characteristicsFlexible Collaboration skills Structured Self-driven Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, we at Region Västernorrland are responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
