Description Talldungeskolan is located in Kortedala and has approximately 260 students from preschool through grade 3. With us, students learn in different ways: individually, in groups, and through research and study visits. We focus greatly on language development and communication because we know it is the most important foundation for knowledge development in all subjects. We also develop work with visual supports and signs as alternative and complementary communication (TAKK). Here all children are met based on their unique needs and we vary instruction and learning environments, both indoors and outdoors. This is done through utilizing the forest around the school and our outdoor classroom. We are now seeking a librarian! Job Responsibilities We work according to Gothenburg City's library plan 2024–2028 with the goal that the school library has a clear pedagogical function whose primary task is to contribute, through collaboration with educators, to promoting students' reading and media and information literacy, and to create a school library for all. The focus of the school library's activities is students' increased achievement of learning objectives, well-being, and identity formation through integrating the school library into instruction. School libraries have a significant role in the school's compensatory mission by meeting students' different needs and circumstances and can contribute to opening windows to the world by broadening perspectives and building resilience against misinformation. The school library should also promote the status of literature and interest in education, while reflecting the interests and diversity in students' everyday lives. As a librarian, you work to strengthen students' reading engagement and reading ability through reading promotion and language development approaches and activities, both independently and in collaboration with school staff. This includes, among other things, conducting lessons in the library or classroom, collaboration with after-school programs in various forms, participation in common activities (and sometimes responsibility for common activities), participation in team and development meetings, participation during breaks (e.g., through an open library during recess), and generally being an active and present adult in the school. You develop work to strengthen students' media and information literacy and digital competence. For example, through lessons in the library and classroom, collaborations with educators, and by being an active part in students' everyday life at school. You plan and conduct instruction and guide students both in the library and classroom. You work to ensure that the school library is an active part of the school's values-based work and democratic mission. As a school librarian, you are responsible for the school library space and work to make the school library a learning environment that is socially, pedagogically, and physically accessible. Job responsibilities include media planning and purchasing, circulation and book management. Together with school librarians at other elementary schools in the city, you are part of the School Administration's school librarian network for collegial learning. You are expected to participate in professional development initiatives aimed at advancing school library operations. Qualifications We are looking for you to have a degree from a university or college in library and information science or equivalent. You have high digital competence relevant to the job responsibilities and a strong interest in children's and young adult literature. To be a good fit for this role, you need to have strong commitment to children and young people and their learning, education, and cultural experiences. You also have a strong ambition to translate research and in-depth subject knowledge into functioning school library practice. We are looking for you to have a good ability to work with others and create good relationships with both students and colleagues. You create conditions for learning to take place and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You also take initiative and responsibility for moving work forward whether you work independently or together with others. You contribute new ideas and perspectives and often see more than one possible solution in different situations. We welcome your application! Experienced Project Manager – Public Space Development at Centralen Area

Do you want to be part of securing Gothenburg's future? Be part of safeguarding Gothenburg's future by working in an innovative program where technology, collaboration, and sustainable urban development meet. This is your opportunity to have a leading role in a crucial initiative for Gothenburg's future. The Västlänken railway tunnel will have three stations in Gothenburg, with Centralen Station being one of them. Once Västlänken is in place, it is not possible to "revert" to the same traffic solution as originally, the conditions for the site are new and the spaces need to be used differently to accommodate all requirements and objectives. Centralen Station is part of the work to create a vibrant and efficient public transport hub where travel by regional and commuter trains, trams, buses, cars, and bicycles interact in a functional way. As project manager for public space development at Centralen, Nordstan, and Kvarnberget, among others (the CNK project), you contribute to creating a vibrant meeting place and transfer point that appeals to all modes of transport and transfers between different transportation methods such as bike to train, bus to train, train to walking. A functioning transfer point must be in place when Västlänken begins operations. Responsibilities The development of public space in CNK is carried out as a total contract with a high degree of collaboration between the development management division and the contracted construction company. The project's various phases, such as design, construction, and handover, can periodically run in parallel as different sub-areas are built and successively handed over to the managing organization. A central part of the role is implementing the handover process. The project manager is responsible for ensuring that completed sub-areas are handed over to the managing organization in a structured manner and according to established procedures. Beyond traditional project management competence, the collaboration model also requires the ability to think innovatively and solve problems. In a complex urban development project, situations often arise where there is no given or obvious solution. The project manager therefore needs to be able to analyze the situation and see alternative paths forward to work with the contractor to find solutions that are good for the project as a whole. Your responsibilities include: Have a guiding role in the design and handover phase Handle referrals in connection with building permits, utility location, utility rights, and similar matters Handle deviations in the design phase Coordinate the project's activities regarding artistic embellishment Handle matters regarding tenant adaptations, outdoor seating areas, etc. Monitor the budget allocated for the design phase Maintain oversight of the review of design documentation according to the review process Qualifications We are looking for you who have: University degree in civil engineering, infrastructure, or similar At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure in a leading role as project manager or manager At least four years of experience leading complex and innovative projects Experience with urban development projects requiring implementation and quality delivery is a merit Previous experience from municipal administration or municipal companies is a merit You are a confident and clear leader who thrives in complex collaborative environments with many stakeholders. You have the ability to combine construction and collaboration competence with strategic ability, holistic perspective, innovative thinking, and strong coordination skills. You are structured, self-reliant, and results-oriented with experience delivering within given time, goal, and cost frameworks. You express yourself very well in speech and writing. Terms Applications are processed on a rolling basis and interviews may take place before the final application deadline. Gothenburg City applies individual and differentiated salary setting. Here you can find more information about, among other things, salary statistics: Salary, compensation and benefits - City of Gothenburg Before a possible interview, you will need to present a passport/national ID/certificate of identity issued by the Swedish Tax Agency and possibly proof of residence permit if you have citizenship outside the EU/EES. This is so we as an employer can verify your identity and ensure you have the right to work in Sweden. In the process, you may also be asked to provide a diploma if this is a requirement for the position. We want the development management division to be characterized by openness and respect for diversity, and we believe that diversity contributes to developing our operations.
