We are looking for a lead preschool teacher who wants to take a leading role in pedagogical development work and together with colleagues create a safe, fun, and educational high-quality preschool. As a lead preschool teacher, you will drive and develop the preschool's activities together with colleagues and the principal, with the curriculum's goals as the foundation. Your responsibilities include: - Lead development work that strengthens children's learning and development - Serve as a role model in teaching and education - Follow up, analyze, and develop teaching together with your team - Contribute to maintaining high and equitable quality in teaching As a lead preschool teacher, you will conduct teaching at least 50% of the time with children in groups to develop instruction. You will be employed at Bärbyvägen 24 where you will also teach children in groups, but the lead preschool teacher role also encompasses Brunstorpsvägen 41. Our preschools are located in a rural setting close to nature, which is a natural part of children's daily lives. Our activities are characterized by safety, participation, and curiosity, where children's interests shape our learning environments and teaching. Our pedagogy is clearly Reggio Emilia-inspired, with Bärbyvägen having long experience and Brunstorpsvägen in an exciting development phase where this pedagogy is progressively strengthened. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher with at least six years of well-documented experience teaching in preschool. You can demonstrate your experience from one or more positions through documentation. You have excellent ability to systematically and continuously follow up, analyze, and develop teaching so that it promotes children's learning and development. You actively engage in systematic quality work and drive the preschool's development toward established goals in collaboration with colleagues and the principal. You contribute knowledge about research and proven experience and have the ability to apply theory in practice. You lead collegial learning and support and challenge colleagues from a scientific perspective. You have developed analytical skills and create engagement and good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You see opportunities for changes that promote the development of education and teaching. It is a merit if you have achieved merit level 2 in the professional program or have started taking courses and/or participated in practice-based research that qualifies for merit to reach level two. It is also a merit if you have prior experience working with Reggio Emilia-inspired approaches, preferably as a pedagogista, particularly related to learning environments, children's exploration, pedagogical documentation, and project-based working methods. We would appreciate experience with strength-based and systems-oriented approaches that can contribute to our collaborative work. If you have prior experience in pedagogical development, mentoring, or process leadership, that is also a major advantage.
