Monthly Temporary Position as Personal Assistant

We are now looking for monthly temporary staff within personal support services in the Department for Functional Support. With us, you will meet children, youth, and adults with various support needs and life situations who may display challenging behavior. Your task is to create safety, inclusion, and conditions for a meaningful everyday life based on each individual's needs and abilities. Work tasks vary between different cases but include personal care, educational support, assistance with communication and social interaction, activities, documentation, and common household tasks. In some operations, work with medical devices or extensive care may occur. Your work tasks include medication management according to delegation. You work where the assistance user is, which means you are in the assistance user's home or at activities outside the home. Work hours are scheduled during day, evening, weekends, weekdays, awake nights, or sleeping on-call shifts. When you work with us as a monthly temporary employee, you will receive a monthly contract with 100% employment during the employment period. You will work according to a fixed schedule planned based on the operation's needs. Within Personal Support, we work with co-planning, which means work can occur in other cases. As a temporary hourly employee, you make yourself available in our booking system when you wish to work. When needs arise in the operation, our staffing planners book you for shifts and you are contacted based on your availability. Qualifications To work as a temporary employee within functional support, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with regulations on the working environment for minors (AFS 2023:2 6 kap. 56, 8 §§). It is a requirement that you can demonstrate a grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If not, you may be offered a language test via EducateIt. It is advantageous if you have: education or ongoing education in, for example, support assistant, nursing assistant, care and welfare, pedagogy, or behavioral science experience working within functional support, care and welfare, or personal assistance experience working with people with challenging behaviors knowledge of low-arousal approach (LAB) and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) experience with medical devices, patient transfer, or extensive care a B-class driver's license We are looking for someone who puts the individual in focus and treats people with respect, good conduct, and commitment. You take responsibility for your work tasks and collaborate well with others. You also need to be confident in yourself and have the ability to stay calm even in stressful situations.
