The Social Care Administration in Borås City is responsible for the municipality's disability services, social psychiatry, and health and care services for these target groups. With approximately 1000 employees and 45 managers, we work continuously to improve the quality of our services for those we serve. About the Operations At the Social Care Administration, you will find stimulating work with an exciting patient population. At the municipal health and care unit in Borås City, two teams work with disability services and one team with social psychiatry. Job Responsibilities At the unit, six physiotherapists work with disability services. We also work with acquired brain injuries and degenerative neurological diagnoses such as MS, ALS, and Huntington's disease. We provide physiotherapy interventions for musculoskeletal problems that may arise from the patient's underlying condition but also assess, investigate, and treat other conditions our patients experience. Our patient population requires a creative mindset where you will be challenged to push beyond conventional physiotherapy knowledge and methods.
