Description Welcome to Mariagården, a care and residential facility in central Smålandsstenar. The facility has 36 apartments for permanent residents. We work from a person-centered approach where the individual's needs are the focus. Job Responsibilities To provide good nursing care and support and to assist residents so they experience a meaningful daily life. It is the residents' care and support needs that form the basis for how we work. Your duties include delegated health and medical care tasks as well as documentation in the activity system and follow-ups in other relevant systems. You actively participate in planning the operations at workplace meetings, development days, and in daily work. You work at Mariagården, but part of the position is placed as a resource at a limited number of other workplaces within Gislaved Municipality. Qualifications Nursing program with at least passing grade or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Category B driver's license. You should be flexible, independent, have good interpersonal skills, good work capacity and collaboration skills, as well as be loyal and work toward established goals. You should have good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. To ensure the safety of our users, background checks are conducted in accordance with the law (2026:43 – Act on Background Checks for Work in the Home for Elderly Persons or Adults with Disabilities). The candidate offered employment must present an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register before employment can begin.
