The work includes mapping and analysis of scientific literature, marine observation systems, monitoring programs, and international frameworks such as Global Ocean Observing Systems Essential Ocean Variables (EOVs). Your research will explore how different types of observation variables can be combined to better understand the ocean's condition, changes, and resilience from a social-ecological perspective. You will also contribute to the development of a support tool for integrated ocean observations that will help researchers, authorities, and other stakeholders identify which variables need to be observed for different knowledge and reporting needs.
