Snow Removal Operator – Both Machine and Hand Shoveling

Sportbemanning i Östergötland AB is seeking snow removal personnel for the upcoming winter season. We are looking for responsible, hardworking, and flexible individuals for snow removal, plowing, and de-icing work. We are seeking both machine operators and hand shovelers. Work is performed at various locations in Östergötland and surrounding areas and is weather-dependent. Job Duties Machine Operator As a machine operator, you will work with: Snow removal using tractor, wheel loader, or other machinery Plowing of roadways Plowing of sidewalks and walkways Plowing and snow removal of courtyards Snow removal from parking lots and other surfaces Snow removal at properties and entrances Sanding and de-icing Work on both larger and smaller/confined spaces Daily inspection of machinery and equipment Hand Shoveler As a hand shoveler, you will work with: Hand shoveling of sidewalks and walkways Shoveling of entrances and stairs Shoveling of courtyards and other smaller areas Snow removal around properties Sanding and de-icing Snow removal in areas inaccessible to machinery Other winter maintenance Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Holds a B-class driver's license Speaks Swedish fluently, both orally and in writing Is responsible and punctual Can work independently and as part of a team Is flexible and can respond when weather conditions require it Enjoys physical outdoor work Is prepared to work in cold and varying weather conditions For the machine operator position, experience with tractor, wheel loader, or other machinery operation is advantageous. Experience in snow removal, de-icing, property maintenance, earthwork, or other winter maintenance is advantageous. Work Hours Work is weather-dependent and hours may vary. Snow removal may need to be performed during early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends, depending on weather and assignments. When snow arrives, work may need to be performed on short notice. It is therefore important that you are flexible and can be available when assignments arise. Work is recurring during the winter season. Employment Form Temporary/hourly employment with the possibility of recurring work throughout the entire winter season. Work Location Work is performed on various assignments and locations in Östergötland and surrounding areas.
