The goal is to promote resource-efficient and reliable machine learning in a unified framework. In your work, you will explore generative modeling to create synthetic representative data points with high training value, while considering dataset bias and ensuring that sensitive information does not leak from the real dataset. You will work with various types of datasets (from low-dimensional point clouds to high-dimensional image data) and focus on different types of applications (e.g., medical imaging). The work will be both theoretical in nature and focused on implementation of experiments with machine learning algorithms for empirical testing. As a PhD candidate, you dedicate yourself to your research education and research projects in which you participate. Your work may also include teaching or participation in other institutional assignments, up to 20% of full-time. Your qualifications You have completed a degree at the advanced level in computer science, statistics, mathematics, electrical engineering or a related field, alternatively completed courses of at least 240 higher education credits of which at least 60 higher education credits at advanced level (within the mentioned areas) or in some other way acquired essentially equivalent knowledge. It is required that you can communicate fluently in spoken and written English. It is considered meritorious if you have solid programming skills in Python, have good knowledge of LaTeX and version control systems (git), and are comfortable working with GNU/Linux systems. Additionally, it is considered meritorious if you have a strong interest in efficient machine learning, fair AI and privacy (differential privacy). It is highly meritorious if you have excellent academic results and a strong background in mathematics. You are skilled at implementing new models and algorithms in an appropriate software environment, with documented experience. You have a strong drive to conduct basic research, ability and interest in working together. Furthermore, strong communication skills are highly valued. The project includes both theoretical and applied work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability. Your workplace Linköping University is one of the leading AI institutions in Sweden. Our Offering Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated primary care centers, Finspång Care Center, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and a General Medicine Training Center. We provide broad primary care services where we offer care to everyone throughout their entire lives; newborns, children, teenagers, adults, elderly, and end-of-life patients. We actively work to create conditions for sustainable working life while maintaining a development-inspired approach to meet future challenges in primary care. With us, there are good development opportunities for those who want to advance in your profession, become a manager, or move forward in other ways through specialization or research. Cityhälsan Centrum Primary Care Center is centrally located on the old hospital grounds in Norrköping. Here you will find an operation with approximately 14,100 registered residents in an average population and nearly 60 permanent employees. With us, you work in interprofessional teams where collaboration and continuity are central. We have four larger teams at the primary care center and since spring also smaller teams, where each physician has their own nurse. This creates good conditions for close collaboration, continuity in patient work, and a way of working where we take advantage of each other's expertise. With a stable basic structure in the operation, you also get good support in your daily work. We also have several specialist departments, including an elderly care clinic, and are an LGBTQI-certified primary care center. Diabetes Nurse at Vårdcentralen Cityhälsan Centrum

Would you like to combine specialist knowledge in diabetes care with close teamwork, development, and the opportunity to make a difference for patients every day? Our Offer Primärvårdscentrum Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177- and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and a General Medicine Training Center. We provide a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their entire lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and patients at the end of life. We are a forward-looking organization with a strong focus on good working environment, development, and well-being. We actively work to create conditions for sustainable working life while maintaining a development-inspired approach to meet future challenges in primary care. With us, there are excellent opportunities for development if you want to advance in your profession, become a manager, or pursue other paths through specialization or research. Vårdcentralen Cityhälsan Centrum is centrally located on the former hospital grounds in Norrköping. Here you will find an operation with approximately 14,100 registered residents in an average population and almost 60 permanent employees. With us, you work in multidisciplinary teams where collaboration and continuity are central. We have four larger teams at the health center and since spring, also smaller teams where each doctor has their own nurse. This creates good conditions for close cooperation, continuity in patient work, and a working method where we utilize each other's expertise. With a stable basic structure in the operation, you also receive good support in your daily work. We also have several specialist departments, including an elderly care clinic, and are an LGBTQI-certified health center. This reflects our ambition to offer inclusive, high-quality care and a workplace where different perspectives and needs are taken seriously. It gives you a varied day, stimulating pace, and close collaboration with many different professions. We are an IBH health center (IBH=integrated behavioral health), which means collaboration between doctors, psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and nurses, to the benefit and learning of both patients and staff. The goal is to work together across the entire health center to increase many patients' functional level and quality of life, and to enhance patients' ability to manage their symptoms and avoid medicalization. For several years, we have been an academic health center with growing engagement in research across several professions. If you want to develop in your role, deepen your expertise, or combine clinical work with research interests, here is an environment that encourages learning and innovative thinking. Please also read about the region's career ladder for nurses and your benefits with us. Job Description We are seeking a diabetes nurse for a permanent position. As a diabetes nurse at the health center, you will have a diabetes clinic together with a colleague. A diabetes-responsible doctor is also part of the team. You will manage diabetes patients at the clinic with relative independence and collaborate with the respective primary care physicians. We strive for continuity in the patient's contact with both doctor and diabetes nurse. The work is a mix of in-person clinic visits, telephone follow-ups, and administrative work. Participation in continuing education is encouraged. As a nurse with us, you also take on the role of resource nurse, where the nurse in collaboration with the resource doctor and resource nursing assistant handles acute situations at the health center. Two mornings a week we have a minor acute care clinic staffed by a doctor and nurse who together care for scheduled patients. It is possible that you will also work in one of these functions, which can contribute to variety and skills development. Telephone advice is the entry point for our patients and accessibility is incredibly important for the entire health center to function. We consider it important that all nurses maintain their competence in telephone advice and that everyone can contribute to this work when needed. You will therefore also work to some extent with telephone advice in an extent that we will agree upon. About You We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse/district nurse and who has experience in diabetes care. Primary care experience and district nurse training are meriting, as is training in the diabetes field. You are a positive person with great flexibility and who finds it easy to collaborate. You are engaged and interested in primary care. You enjoy being part of a larger context and in your professional role you are empathetic and concerned with maintaining good relationships with others. You are also someone who has good organization and prioritization skills. With us, you'll have the opportunity to influence the direction forward and be a key person in developing the next generation of cultivation systems. In this role, you will work closely with management, development teams, and external technology partners to further develop Swegreen's technical platform. You have a strong interest in AI, automation, and data-driven optimization, and thrive in an environment where technology is translated into practical solutions. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and have the ability to both see the big picture and solve the details required for systems to function in reality. You work independently, take initiative, and communicate fluently in English in technical contexts. It is a merit if you have experience with IoT or embedded platforms, edge computing, sensors, control systems, or automation. Experience with AI tools, integration flows, agent-based systems, or product development is also valuable. If you additionally have an interest in sustainable technology and the future of food production, you'll feel at home with us. As a person, you are curious, creative, and driven by building new things. You appreciate working in a rapidly changing environment where not all answers are always available from the start, and where collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving are central. You see opportunities where others see challenges and are motivated by creating solutions that make a real difference. About Swegreen Swegreen is a Swedish foodtech company that develops and operates systems for circular, indoor-based food production. The company's solutions enable the cultivation of herbs, salad, and other leafy vegetables directly at the point of consumption, for example in grocery stores, restaurants, or properties. By producing food locally, the need for transport and storage is reduced, which contributes to lower climate impact and increased freshness. Swegreen's cultivation systems are resource-efficient and designed to use less water than traditional agriculture. Production occurs without pesticides and in a closed environment, which provides stable quality and reduces external risk factors such as weather and seasonal variations. The company operates at the intersection of food production, technology, and sustainable urban development, with the goal of creating scalable solutions for tomorrow's food systems. Interested?
