Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated primary care centers, Finspång Care Center, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and a General Medicine Training Center. Cityhälsan Centrum Primary Care Center is centrally located on the old hospital grounds in Norrköping.
Here you will find an operation with approximately 14,100 registered residents in an average population and nearly 60 permanent employees.
With us, you work in interprofessional teams where collaboration and continuity are central. We have four larger teams at the primary care center and since spring also smaller teams, where each physician has their own nurse. This creates good conditions for close collaboration, continuity in patient work, and a way of working where we take advantage of each other's expertise. With a stable basic structure in the operation, you also get good support in your daily work.
We also have several specialist departments, including an elderly care clinic, and are an LGBTQI-certified primary care center. This reflects our ambition to offer inclusive care of high quality and a workplace where different perspectives and needs are taken seriously. This gives you a varied day, stimulating pace, and close collaboration with many different professions.
We are an IBH primary care center (IBH=integrated behavioral health), which means collaboration between physicians, psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and nurses, to the benefit and learning of both patients and staff. The goal is to collectively work across the entire primary care center to increase many patients' functional level and quality of life and increase patients' ability to manage their symptoms and avoid medicalization.

Job Description
We now have the opportunity to fill a permanent nurse position.
As a nurse at the primary care center, you will have varied work, as the primary care center's broad mission means you will encounter many different types of people and conditions. Phone advice is the most important way for our patients to access our services, and we need to have good accessibility for the entire primary care center to function. Phone advice is therefore one of the most important functions we have at the primary care center and is thus one of the nurse's tasks. We want all nurses to develop and maintain competence in phone advice, but how much it comprises of the overall assignment may vary.
In addition to phone advice, we also have a nurse clinic, where you for example take blood pressure, provide wound care, manage urinary catheters and central lines, and more. As a nurse with us, your assignment also includes being a resource nurse, where the nurse in collaboration with the resource physician and resource nursing assistant handles acute situations at the primary care center. Two mornings per week we have a minor acute clinic staffed by a physician and nurse who together care for scheduled patients. There is also the opportunity to gradually become involved in one of our specialist clinics. One of the specialist clinics is our elderly care clinic, which we want to strengthen right now.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse/district nurse and who have an interest in primary care. Primary care experience and district nursing education are merits. Particularly meriting are interest in and experience working with our elderly at the elderly care clinic.
You are a positive person with great flexibility and who easily collaborates. You are engaged and interested in primary care. You enjoy being part of a larger context, and in your professional role you are empathetic and value good relationships with other people. You are also someone who has good organizational skills and prioritization ability.
